SAINT-TROPEZ DANS LA PEAU
Christophe Coutal, 8° génération tropézienne, incarne l’âme du Sud avec son regard bleu Méditerranée, son accent chantant et sa générosité naturelle. Héritier d’une lignée d’hôteliers et restaurateurs, il dirige aujourd’hui la légendaire plage Moorea à Ramatuelle et le restaurant La Renaissance à Saint-Tropez. Ses grands-parents accueillaient les plus grands artistes à l’Hôtel de Paris, et son père tenait déjà Moorea en 1980. Parti à 14 ans étudier aux Etats-Unis, il revient diplômé d’un MBA en Management et prend à 26 ans les rênes de l’affaire familiale. Adjoint au maire de Saint-Tropez, il est aussi passionné de sport: il organise depuis 31 ans un tournoi de golf international, et lance cette saison le restaurant African Queen sur la place des Lices.
LE PARADIS À L’HORIZON
Située sur la plage de Pampelonne, à deux pas de Saint-Tropez, la plage privée Moorea, créée en 1952, attire une clientèle internationale.
Depuis 1993, sous la direction de Christophe Coutal, cet écrin est un véritable havre de paix où luxe et convivialité se côtoient harmonieusement.
Tout en gardant son esprit authentique, Moorea a été récemment revisitée avec une décoration en bois flotté et des canapés vert émeraude pour apporter une touche glamour chic. Christophe Coutal, an 8 th generation Tropezian, embodies the soul of the South with his Mediterranean blue eyes, his lilting accent and his natural generosity. Heir to a line of hoteliers and restaurateurs, he now runs the legendary Moorea beach in Ramatuelle and the La Renaissance restaurant in Saint-Tropez. His grandparents hosted the greatest artists at the Hôtel de Paris, and his father was already running Moorea in 1980. He left to study in the United States at the age of 14, returning with an MBA in Management and taking over the family business at the age of 26. A deputy mayor of Saint-Tropez, he is also passionate about sport: for 31 years he has organised an international golf tournament, and this season, he launches the African Queen Restaurant on Place des Lices.

Created in 1952 on the beach of Pampelonne, just a stone’s throw from Saint-Tropez, the private beach of Moorea now has an international following of families, locals and stars.
