L’architecte italien, Matteo Gennari grandit dans un univers sensible à l’esthétique, bercé à l’architecture, l’art et la mode. Entre Milan et la Côte d’Azur, il développe très tôt un goût pour les beaux lieux. Après un détour initiatique à Londres, il revient à Milan où il intègre Polytechnique. Ses années d’études, marquées par un Erasmus à Bordeaux et l’effervescence culturelle milanaise des années 90, nourrissent sa curiosité et son ouverture. À la suite d’une thèse sur l’architecture de l’habitat et d’une expérience auprès d’un architecte japonais de renommé, il s’installe à Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Il y conjugue pratique professionnelle et immersion artistique locale. Trois ans plus tard, il fonde son agence avec le soutien de son épouse. Basé à Beaulieu- sur-Mer, Matteo Gennari développe aujourd’hui des projets d’envergure et ouvre deux nouvelles implantations à Saint-Tropez et à Monaco avec MG DESIGN. Ses réalisations, parmi lesquelles la rénovation de villas emblématiques de la Riviera, témoignent d’une architecture exigeante où chaque détail compte.

Originaire de Milan, l’architecte Matteo Gennari vit et travaille sur la Côte d’Azur depuis 12 ans. Fasciné par la lumière azuréenne et par cette alchimie unique entre mer, nature et culture, il choisit naturellement d’y développer des projets où l’exigence haut de gamme se conjugue à l’innovation. Matteo Gennari innove constamment tout en restant fidèle à sa vision de l’excellence : faire de chaque projet une œuvre unique. Curieux de nature et attentif aux attentes de ses clients ainsi qu’à leur vision du luxe, il conçoit des projets architecturaux en privilégiant les matériaux italiens, au design hors pair, toujours novateurs et d’une créativité sans limite, aux côtés d’une équipe de talentueux architectes et décorateurs d’intérieur. Pour Matteo Gennari, l’architecture est une histoire de rencontres et d’émotions, et cela se ressent indéniablement dans chacun des projets qu’il signe.

Born near Milan, Matteo Gennari grew up in an environment shaped by a strong sense of aesthetics, between his father’s sartorial elegance and a protective upbringing. Between the Tyrol mountains and the light of Nice, he developed an early appreciation for beautiful places. After a formative stay in London, he studied at the Polytechnic of Milan. An Erasmus in Bordeaux and Milan’s vibrant cultural scene in the 1990s further nurtured his curiosity and openness. Following a thesis in urban planning and an experience with a Japanese architect, he settled in Nice, where he combined professional practice with immersion in the local artistic scene. Three years later, he founded his own firm with the support of his wife. Based in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Matteo Gennari now develops large-scale projects and has opened two new offices in Saint-Tropez and Monaco under MG DESIGN. His work, including the renovation of iconic Riviera villas, reflects an exacting architectural approach and a meticulous attention to detail.
